Publisher Fellow Traveler and Gareth Damian Martin—the creative mind behind Citizen Sleeper—have officially pulled the curtain back on Signet City. This ambitious first-person “fungalpunk” RPG casts players in the role of a parasite. While a firm launch date remains under wraps, the team has confirmed that the title is heading to PC soon.
Set within a decaying coastal metropolis, Signet City takes place in a world where organic, biological computing has rendered traditional silicon chips obsolete. As a parasite emerging from the city’s brackish bay, your objective is to infiltrate human minds, guiding your hosts through their final days. The game promises a deeply immersive environment, where you can influence everything from the grit of urban squats to the grandeur of massive skylines, permanently altering the city’s trajectory.
Given the narrative excellence found in both Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, expectations for this new venture are high.

Signet City masterfully fuses first-person exploration with the intricate, choice-driven mechanics of tabletop RPGs. The aesthetic is heavily influenced by the weird fiction genre and the grit of 1980s post-punk Britain. One of the most striking aspects of the game is its bold monochromatic art style, which emphasizes its Brutalist architectural inspirations.
Because you are not human, your gameplay loop centers on navigating the “social body” of the city—shaping conversations, manipulating residents, and subtly altering the world around you to suit your needs.
