Escape from Tarkov Players Lose Server Access After XP Event Begins, but Battlestate Games Is Not at Fault

Not all interested players were able to take advantage of the promotion.

In late September, Escape from Tarkov fans began complaining about issues connecting to servers and logging into the extraction shooter. The developers responded and explained that these difficulties are related to network infrastructure issues that are beyond the control of Battlestate Games.

The Escape from Tarkov developers did not provide any further details. Notably, they recently decided to launch a new in-game event in which experience earned from PvP activity was significantly increased:

• 600 experience instead of 120 for eliminating a PMC;
• 110 experience instead of 55 for eliminating a Scav, including player Scavs;
• 200 experience instead of 20 for picking up a PMC dogtag.

These increased experience multipliers will be active until October 5 at 12:00 PM Moscow time.

The event launched over the weekend in Escape from Tarkov has concluded. The developers reported that the contents and reset frequency of support crates on Lighthouse have been returned to their previous values. At the same time, documents for the Kord Breach battle pass can still be obtained by completing operational tasks, and the promotion will run until the end of the season.
