Sharon Stone to Star in A24 Comedy

Iconic Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone has signed on to headline the upcoming A24 project, Martha and Muhammad.

This film marks the directorial debut of comedian Ramy Youssef, best known for his acclaimed series Ramy. The story centers on the unexpected connection and blossoming friendship between Martha, a high-society socialite played by Stone, and Muhammad, a young Muslim man, as they navigate life in New York City.

Youssef co-wrote the screenplay alongside Josh Safdie (Uncut Gems). While an official release date has yet to be announced, Stone is fresh off her recent appearance in the final season of HBO’s hit drama Euphoria.
