SEGA Pulls Condemned From Steam and Other Stores
Gamers now have an unexpected reason to revisit Condemned: Criminal Origins.
A few days ago Condemned: Criminal Origins was featured in a Steam sale — but the situation has since changed.
Publisher SEGA has pulled the game from sale on Steam and other digital storefronts.
Valve has not removed the game’s store page. Instead, it displays the standard notice that “Condemned: Criminal Origins is no longer available in the Steam Store” without specifying a reason for the removal.
Observers suggest this may be tied to rights issues; the developer Monolith was previously shuttered.
Collectors still have a chance to acquire the game: listings for activation keys are still appearing online.
