Sebastian Stan reveals his character’s name in The Batman sequel
Academy Award nominee Sebastian Stan has officially confirmed that he will portray Harvey Dent in The Batman – Part II.
“I’m also unable to disclose anything regarding Matt Reeves’ The Batman – Part II, in which I play Harvey Dent. The beauty of this profession is that it grants me the opportunity to participate in grand-scale projects that I personally enjoy as a moviegoer,”
— Stan remarked in an interview with the French publication Le Journal du Dimanche.
Gotham City District Attorney Harvey Dent is widely recognized as the iconic villain Two-Face. The character has previously been portrayed on the big screen by Aaron Eckhart and Tommy Lee Jones. Production on The Batman – Part II commenced this spring, with a theatrical release currently scheduled for February 18, 2028.
Robert Pattinson is set to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, joined by a star-studded cast including Scarlett Johansson, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and others, with Matt Reeves returning to the director’s chair.
Before the year concludes, Stan will appear in the festival drama The Apprentice (which garnered critical acclaim) and the upcoming Marvel feature Avengers: Doomsday.
