Deadline reports that the series “Metal Screech” has been renewed for a third season.
The show premiered on the Peacock streaming service in 2023, with a second season arriving in the summer of 2025. The narrative is adapted from the PlayStation video game series of the same name and is set in a bleak, post‑apocalyptic future. Courier John Doe (Anthony Mackie) struggles to survive the wasteland, constantly on the run from marauders.
The cast also features Stephanie Beatriz, Neve Campbell, Will Arnett, Thomas Haden Church, Anthony Carrigan and others. David Reid (“The Boys”) will take over as the new showrunner.
