Harry Potter alumnus Rupert Grint has officially boarded the cast of a new cinematic reimagining of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic, “A Christmas Carol.” Johnny Depp is set to headline the project, leading an impressive ensemble that features Daisy Ridley, Sam Claflin, Andrea Riseborough, and screen legend Ian McKellen. Also joining the production is Tramell Tillman, best known for his breakout role in the acclaimed series “Severance.”
In an intriguing creative shift, the festive feature will be directed by Ti West, the horror auteur celebrated for his gritty trilogy consisting of “X,” “Pearl,” and “MaXXXine.”
The film is scheduled for a global theatrical release on November 13, 2026.
