In the lead-up to The Game Awards 2025, various insiders have grown more active, sharing rumours about potential announcements.
A user known as RaidersSociety claims a remake of Tomb Raider (1996) will be revealed at the event.
Last year, the original Lara Croft adventure received a remaster featuring upgraded visuals and enhancements; it was released as part of the Tomb Raider I–III Remastered Starring Lara Croft compilation. RaidersSociety did not provide further details about the alleged “remake”.
The Game Awards 2025 ceremony will take place overnight from Thursday, December 11 to Friday, December 12.
