Rumours about a follow-up to the 2021 cooperative shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite began circulating in 2024, but until recently there was no official word. Briefly, the American ratings board ESRB listed a sequel on its website, though the entry was quickly removed. The page now returns a 404 error.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has been given an “M (Mature 17+)” rating for blood, violence and strong language. The listing also names Daybreak Game Company as the publisher and indicates a release is planned for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
