Rockstar Urges Players Not to Jump to Conclusions About Grand Theft Auto VI Amid Leaks
Rockstar Games has addressed the massive leak of Grand Theft Auto VI materials, asking fans to wait for the official console release on November 19.
In its statement, the studio acknowledged that the leak disrupted how players were meant to first experience GTA VI and dealt a major blow to the development team. Rockstar emphasized that work on the project continues as planned.
We definitely did not want your first look at the game to happen this way.

Rockstar urged players not to jump to conclusions based on the leaked footage and to wait until they can play the game themselves, promising that the final release will fully live up to community expectations.
The studio concluded by thanking the community for its support following the leak. The developers noted that GTA VI is being built specifically for the players, adding that without their backing, the studio would not be able to create games on this scale.
