Director Rian Johnson has revealed that he’s currently “developing ideas” for a fourth entry in the Knives Out franchise.
“Creatively I feel a rush of energy… Daniel [Craig] and I have already begun to imagine what the next film might be if we make another. I don’t see any reason to stop doing this when I can keep going,” Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter.
The original Knives Out, which follows the investigations of detective Benoit Blanc, debuted in 2019. After its release, Johnson signed a deal with Netflix to produce sequels — a contract reportedly valued at $450 million.
The second film, subtitled Glass Onion, arrived in 2022. The third installment, Wake Up, Dead Man, is scheduled to stream on December 12.
