Is Rockstar Games currently working on a next-gen version of Red Dead Redemption 2? In any case, this is what AccountNgt believes to know who, questioned by one of his followers on Twitter, replied: “It happens.“The tweet has since disappeared, but that does not prevent us from recalling that the insider has already been right in the past, with the acquisition of Bungie by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the release window of Hogwarts Legacy: The Legacy of Hogwarts, or the development of Star Wars Eclipse at Quantic Dream. A few examples which therefore add credibility to this rumor. Moreover, Rockstar Games having already deployed a patch on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5, it would not be no wonder he does the same with the adventures of Arthur Morgan.

If this rumor were to be confirmed, we can imagine that the developers will be happy with the various features of the DualSense which, it must be admitted, greatly reinforce the immersion. In the meantime, we recall that last February, Red Dead Redemption 2 totaled more than 43 million copies sold worldwide since its release in 2018 on Xbox One and PS4 – the PC version only arrived one year later. We are still far from the 160 million of GTA 5, but it is still a figure that a large number of games will never reach.
