The Blood of Dawnwalker Developers Say They Are Rebels Who Reject Trends
Many players have grown fond of Rebel Wolves’ game.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is the debut game from studio Rebel Wolves, which was founded by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt creator Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. The project launched successfully, and the developers are now speaking with journalists to discuss their work approach and share plans for the future.
Media outlets recently visited the Rebel Wolves headquarters. When the creators of The Blood of Dawnwalker were asked what matters more to them—market trends or creative vision—they answered:
We are rebels. We don’t want to follow trends. We want to create the games we want to play ourselves and enjoy.

Although Rebel Wolves is supported by outside investors like NetEase and has Bandai Namco Entertainment as a publisher, the studio remains independent and retains full creative control over its projects.
Many players have appreciated this approach. The Blood of Dawnwalker received “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, holding an 87% rating after more than 30,000 user reviews.
The developers have previously mentioned that they are working on a sequel.
