Record-breaking short runtime for Dune: Part Three revealed
Ticket sales have officially opened for the third installment of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune saga. According to a listing on the IMAX website, the film is slated for a 140-minute runtime.
Should this duration be finalized, it will mark the shortest entry in the franchise to date. For comparison, the original Dune ran for 155 minutes, while its successor spanned 165 minutes.
In the trilogy’s grand finale, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) ascends to the throne as a tyrannical emperor, bracing for unprecedented challenges. The star-studded ensemble includes Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy, Florence Pugh, Robert Pattinson, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, and others. The movie is scheduled for release on December 18.
