Ready or Not Breaks Records After Console Release — Over One Billion Criminals Eliminated
The tactical shooter Ready or Not has enjoyed a renewed surge in popularity following its July launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Previously available only on PC, the console release sparked debate — Steam users lodged complaints alleging “censorship.”
The developers released a new trailer that also shared player activity statistics from recent months. Ready or Not has recently gained full Steam Deck compatibility, which further amplified community interest.
According to the developers:
- 4.2 million tonnes of narcotics intercepted,
- 427 million offenders arrested,
- 821 million hostages rescued,
- 1.3 billion perpetrators neutralized.
Despite a drop compared with late 2023, engagement remains strong. On October 5 roughly 18,000 players were online simultaneously on Steam, and weekend concurrency typically holds between 8,000 and 10,000 players.
