Rayman Legends Retold Reimagines Classic Rhythms With a “Macarena” Stage
During the Gamescom Opening Night Live broadcast, Ubisoft revealed fresh gameplay details for Rayman Legends Retold, confirming that the upcoming revamp will feature brand-new, synchronized musical stages designed to test players’ platforming precision.
The showcase spotlighted a rhythmic level set to a chaotic, orchestrated cover of Los Del Rio’s iconic global hit, “Macarena.” Blending the franchise’s trademark slapstick humor with pulse-pounding obstacle navigation, the track turns the legendary dance anthem into an acrobatic gauntlet.
Beyond introducing fresh tracks, Rayman Legends Retold delivers a comprehensive visual overhaul, transforming the original aesthetic into an expressive 3D presentation while introducing entirely new levels and gameplay enhancements.
Rayman Legends Retold is slated to arrive on October 1 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
