PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was certainly one of two video games to win three awards at South by Southwest, the large annual music and humanities competition held in Austin, Texas. The awards present was held Saturday evening to acknowledge excellent video games from 2017.

The solely different sport to win three awards on the competition was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which SXSW named their sport of the 12 months.
Other PC video games that received awards embrace What Remains of Edith Finch (Excellence in Narrative), Night within the Woods (Most Fulfilling Community-Funded Game), Star Wars Battlefront II (Excellence in Convergence), Cuphead (Excellence in Art and Excellence in Animation), and NieR: Automata (Excellence in Musical Score and Excellence in Technical Achievement).
