Euro Truck Simulator 2: Update 1.62 Release

Update 1.62 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is officially available on Steam, bringing new truck editions, redesigned garages, visual improvements, and more.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Open Beta, reported issues, and shared feedback on the forum. Your input helped the team refine the update and prepare it for its full release.

DAF XG+ Emerald, Sapphire & 30 Years in Czechia Editions

Three new editions of the DAF XG+ join the fleet. The Emerald and Sapphire Editions offer striking green and blue paint schemes, exclusive exterior accessories, and specially designed interiors for drivers looking to give their trucks a distinctive appearance.

The DAF XG+ 30 Years in Czechia Edition commemorates three decades of DAF in the Czech Republic. Its anniversary styling includes distinctive exterior details and an exclusive interior with dedicated upholstery and stitching. Learn more in the dedicated blog post.

New Garages

Redesigned truck garages are now available throughout the base map and all map DLCs. With refreshed interiors and exteriors, the new models add greater detail and a more modern look, making garage upgrades feel more rewarding.

Performance was an important consideration throughout development. The team worked to balance the visual upgrades with the performance cost of the older garage models. Read more about the new garages.

Improved Material System

The Improved Material System continues to expand, with the Iveco S-Way now receiving an interior visual upgrade. Enhanced lighting improves the appearance of the cabin, with particular attention given to how different materials respond to light.

Goodyear Tyres Pack Update

The Goodyear Tyres Pack paint jobs have been refreshed to reflect the company’s updated branding. They now feature the latest Goodyear logo and subtly revised colours.

Game Radio Update

The Escape station in Game Radio has received an update. As the only stream-safe station in the in-game lineup, it offers content creators a soundtrack for sharing their journeys. Tracks that caused copyright issues have been removed, and 11 new songs have been added, bringing the playlist’s runtime closer to that of the other stations.
