Update 1.62 for American Truck Simulator is now available on Steam.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Open Beta and reported bugs and other issues. Your feedback helped refine the update ahead of its release. Here is a look at what is new.

Road Trip Tourist Boards

Players exploring the Atlas feature in the Road Trip: Ford DLC have more destinations to discover. New Tourist Boards have been added to Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Washington, and Louisiana. Each state receives one board, while Nebraska gets two. Completing each board earns a new postcard.

To mark the 100th anniversary of Route 66, the update also introduces a cross-border Tourist Board with locations across Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.

You can visit locations in the states you own even if you do not have every map expansion. To complete the Route 66 board and unlock its special postcard, however, you must own all the covered map expansions and visit every associated location. Completing the board also awards a Route 66 air freshener accessory.

Improved Material System

The Improved Material System now extends to the interior of the All-New 2025 Volvo VNL. Enhanced lighting and visual details give the cabin a more refined appearance, with particular attention to how different materials respond to light.

Goodyear Tires Pack Update

Paint jobs in the Goodyear Tires Pack have been refreshed to reflect the company’s updated branding. They now feature the latest Goodyear logo and adjusted colors.

Game Radio Update

Escape, the stream-safe station in the in-game radio lineup, has received an updated playlist. Tracks that caused copyright issues have been removed, and 11 songs have been added, extending the station’s runtime to better match the other channels. The station remains an option for creators who share their journeys with their audiences.
