Hot Toys has unveiled a stunning new 1/6 scale collectible figure of Superman as he appeared in Frank Miller’s seminal comic, *Batman: The Dark Knight Returns*, where the Man of Steel serves as a formidable operative for the U.S. government.
Continuing to pay homage to Frank Miller’s legendary graphic novel, Hot Toys is expanding its line-up of high-end collectibles based on the series.
Scheduled for release between January and June 2027, the company plans to launch this version of Superman alongside an aging Bruce Wayne. In this iteration, Kal-El acts as a primary antagonist and a tool of the American administration.
This 1/6 scale masterpiece is currently available for pre-order through authorized retailers for approximately €240.74. The figure stands 34cm tall and features a newly developed body with over 30 points of articulation, along with two distinct head sculpts equipped with independent rolling eyeballs and a specialized UV-luminescent reflective effect.
The set includes six interchangeable hands and a meticulously tailored blue fabric costume featuring the iconic red and yellow chest emblem. The wired red cape, embossed with a yellow S-shield, allows for dynamic posing, while the outfit is rounded out with a yellow belt, red trunks, and soft vinyl boots.
The collection is completed with a series of story-specific accessories, including a Kryptonite arrow, a battle-damaged sonic cannon, and a themed display stand featuring the *Dark Knight Returns* logo and the character’s name.
