Pragmata Lands in April 2026; Playable Steam Demo Launches Today
The 2025 Game Awards hit the ground running, delivering one of Capcom’s most anticipated updates during the pre-show festivities. After years of mysterious teasers and unfortunate delays, the publisher has finally confirmed that Pragmata will officially launch on April 24, 2026. In a surprise move, a playable demo was shadow-dropped on Steam, allowing players to experience the sci-fi odyssey immediately.
The latest trailer emphasizes the central narrative pillar of the game: the evolving bond between the protagonist, Hugh, and Diana, the enigmatic android child he is tasked with protecting. The cinematic footage culminates in a charming high-five between the duo as the release date is revealed. Capcom also used the spotlight to announce that Pragmata is coming to the Switch 2, launching day-and-date with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC versions.
While the Steam demo is live now, Capcom noted that the trial version will arrive on consoles and the Switch 2 at a later, unspecified date.
