Pony Island 2: Panda Circus Release Announcement

Daniel Mullins, the auteur behind genre-defying indie hits like Inscryption and the original cult classic Pony Island, has pulled back the curtain on his latest surreal venture. The highly anticipated and decidedly eccentric follow-up, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, is officially scheduled to launch on April 27, 2027.

A Genre-Bending Journey Through Myth, Divinity, and Arcades

True to Mullins’ signature meta-narrative style, the game is described as a kaleidoscopic “voyage through time, myth, divinity, and video games.” Early footage showcases a cryptic progression through distinct arcade cabinets, each presenting its own bespoke mechanical twists, retro aesthetics, and reality-warping puzzles designed to subvert player expectations at every turn.

Adding another ambitious layer to the production, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus integrates live-action Full-Motion Video (FMV) performances featuring a dynamic cast that includes:

  • SungWon Cho (ProZD)
  • Arian Moayed (Succession, Spider-Man: No Way Home)
  • Caitlin Reilly (Dead Boy Detectives, Loot)
  • Kevin Saxby

Prepare for the bizarre, fourth-wall-breaking spectacle when Pony Island 2: Panda Circus makes its grand debut in spring 2027.
