The developers have just announced an update scheduled for November that will address several major technical issues.
Among the fixes is a crash that could occur during the encounter with the first Rogue Mega Evolution, which prevented players from catching new Pokémon when their storage boxes were full. The patch will also correct the side-quest reward system, which occasionally failed to grant the promised Pokémon. Additionally, a rare bug that caused the game to freeze if an attack struck an opponent at the exact moment the in-game day changed will be resolved to prevent progression from being blocked.
The update is focused on improving stability and eliminating blockers that impede story progression. Although an exact release date for the patch has not been announced, Game Freak says development is nearing completion. The title is performing especially well on the Nintendo Switch 2, where sales have outpaced the previous model and reaffirm the series’ strong, ongoing popularity.
