In October, Sony rolled out firmware version 12.20.00 for PlayStation 5 consoles, delivering a set of technical refinements.
Some notable changes: patch notes
- Updated the DualSense Edge wireless controller firmware to improve stability.
- Enhanced the performance and reliability of the system software.
Additional notes:
You can now use your console to view the serial number for the console itself and any DualSense wireless controllers currently connected via USB or Bluetooth.

- Settings > Accessories > General > Advanced Settings > View Serial Number
