Players Heavily Wishlist Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Capcom announced that the upcoming action-adventure game Onimusha: Way of the Sword has surpassed 2 million wishlists across all platforms ahead of its launch.
The single-player title blends action and adventure elements. It is scheduled to release on September 4, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.

Capcom emphasized that reaching 2 million wishlists ahead of the premiere reflects high interest in the game. The company noted, however, that this milestone does not yet guarantee commercial success, which will ultimately be decided by sales.
