Developers are set to reveal the release date for Phantom Blade Zero soon. Back in August, studio S-GAME confirmed it would announce the date before the end of the year.
The game was unveiled in 2023. The narrative follows an elite assassin hunting down the person responsible for the death of the Order’s patriarch. The title blends soulslike mechanics with RPG elements, and players consistently cite its combat system as the standout strength.
The Game Awards account on X shared a brief clip in which the protagonist sketches a Chinese dragon that springs to life — a short teaser for the upcoming date announcement.
The show will take place on December 12, 2025. Announced projects include Resident Evil Requiem and Exodus. Phantom Blade Zero is likely to join the roster of 2026 releases, following Grand Theft Auto 6 and 007 First Light.
