Phantom Blade Zero Has Reportedly Sold Hundreds of Thousands of Copies on Steam
Pre-orders for developer S-Game’s upcoming action title Phantom Blade Zero have reportedly reached approximately 300,000 copies on Steam, generating $14.5 million in revenue ahead of its release, according to estimates by Alinea Analytics analyst Rhys Elliott.
S-Game previously stated that early pre-orders had “far exceeded expectations.” The title’s Steam wishlist count has also reportedly surpassed 1.6 million, driven by a major spike after its trailer debuted at The Game Awards. It remains unclear how much the recent extended presentation and State of Play appearance contributed to that total.
Consultant Daniel Camilo noted that excitement around the project is “nowhere near” the level seen for Black Myth: Wukong, but is “significantly higher than what we saw before the launch of Wuchang.” In China, local companies have already secured partnership and licensing agreements tied to Phantom Blade Zero.
Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC. The main story will take an estimated 30 to 40 hours to finish, and the game will include three difficulty settings, featuring an unlockable 66 Days mode.
