PC Version of Where Winds Meet Leads in Performance — Graphics Comparison
A visual comparison of Where Winds Meet highlights the distinctions between the PS5, PS5 Pro, and PC, showcasing each platform’s advantages and confirming that PC remains the performance leader.
On the standard PS5 the game runs a single graphics preset with fixed resolution, effects, and framerate options. The PS5 Pro introduces two additional modes, one of which enables ray-traced reflections. The implementation is modest but visually enhances depth on reflective surfaces. Ray tracing is not yet available on PC. Neither PS5 build manages a consistent 60 FPS.
Render resolution also differs: the PS5 Pro renders at a higher internal resolution than the base PS5, producing a crisper image, though stutters and frame drops still occur during intense combat and fast movement.
The PC version on High and Ultra settings delivers excellent stability and can exceed 200 FPS on RTX 50-series GPUs. Developers have confirmed that a new “Natural” mode will arrive on PC soon to further elevate visual fidelity.
