Paul Walker’s brother suggests using AI to bring the actor back for the final Fast & Furious film

Cody Walker, the brother of the late actor Paul Walker and a professional stuntman, has confirmed that he has no plans to participate in the production of the final installment of the Fast & Furious saga.

Following Paul’s tragic passing in 2013, his brothers, Cody and Caleb, stepped in to help complete Furious 7 by serving as body doubles. With Vin Diesel recently hinting at the possible return of Brian O’Conner for the franchise’s eleventh and final film, speculation has intensified.

Cody suggested that the filmmakers might not require his assistance this time around, noting that advancements in artificial intelligence could be used to “resurrect” the character. He emphasized that the final decision rests with Paul’s daughter, Meadow, who made a cameo appearance in Fast X.

“I have no desire to be involved in that again. I’m satisfied with how his character departed from the franchise. He wasn’t killed off; Brian simply continued living his life, raising his children. However, should they decide to bring him back and Meadow gives her blessing, they wouldn’t need Caleb or me. AI didn’t exist in 2014, but today, they could certainly utilize it. There is an abundance of footage from previous films. They are the best in the business, and I trust they will find a way,” Cody stated.

Fast X: Part 2 is slated for a March 2028 release. Directed by Louis Leterrier, the film will feature the return of Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, with principal photography expected to commence this December.
