Path of Exile 2 Version 1.0 Launches This December
Following its initial debut in PC Early Access back in December 2024, Path of Exile 2 has reached the final stretch of development. Developer Grinding Gear Games has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Version 1.0 launch will arrive roughly two years after its early-access unveiling.
Serving as a fully realized evolution of the original dark-fantasy epic, this sequel refines the iconic isometric action-RPG formula made famous by the Diablo franchise. Set within the grim, unforgiving lands of Wraeclast, the adventure invites players to confront eldritch horrors and ruthless adversaries either solo or alongside a party of up to six players in cooperative multiplayer. Sticking to its core philosophy, the game will remain entirely free-to-play upon its official debut.
Upon its full version 1.0 deployment, Path of Exile 2 will launch simultaneously across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
