Players are being lured in ahead of the arrival of a new in-game class.
Grinding Gear Games has announced that to celebrate the launch of the major expansion The Last of the Druids, which arrives on December 12, Path of Exile 2 will be temporarily available for free to anyone who wishes to try it.
Typically, early access to Path of Exile 2 is restricted to purchasers of the paid Supporter Pack, priced at roughly $30. However, from December 12 through December 15, the game will be open to all players across every supported platform.
During the free weekend, players will have full access to the current early-access content. There will be no limits on character progression, and all progress made during the three days — including any cosmetic items earned from defeating bosses — will remain permanently tied to players’ accounts.
