Paramount executives have decided to cancel the animated series “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” The move is reportedly connected to the company’s merger with Skydance. The animated series “Dora” was also canceled alongside “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”
The second — and final — season of the talking-turtles series is slated to premiere on Paramount+ in December.
Whether a new series set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe will be developed is currently unknown.
