Palworld receives major update with Ultrakill crossover and base overhaul

Palworld has launched its 0.7 “Home Sweet Home” update, introducing a comprehensive overhaul of the base-building mechanics and a high-octane crossover with the retro-style shooter Ultrakill.

This major expansion focuses on one of Palworld’s most vital pillars: construction. Players can now utilize 48 brand-new structural elements and a dedicated painting system, allowing for a level of base personalization and creative freedom never seen before in the game.

The building interface has been entirely redesigned. Developers have replaced the original, somewhat cluttered layout with a more intuitive list-based menu, significantly streamlining the process of finding and placing components.

The collaboration with Ultrakill brings iconic V1 and V2 robotic gear, specialized weaponry, and the signature “Coin Toss” ability into the world of Palworld. Additionally, PC players on Steam now have access to official Steam Workshop integration, though mod compatibility may vary depending on specific server settings.

Competitive enthusiasts can now enjoy custom PvP rulesets to tailor the combat experience. Beyond the new features, the update also addresses various technical issues, offering bug fixes and general performance optimizations for a smoother gameplay experience.
