Nintendo Schedules Global Test Ride for Kirby Air Riders Ahead of Switch 2 Launch
An online demo event gives players a chance to try the new racing entry before its November 20 release on Nintendo Switch 2.
Nintendo has confirmed an online demo—branded the Global Test Ride—for Kirby Air Riders. The sessions run in early November, just weeks prior to the game’s Switch 2 debut on November 20.
Masahiro Sakurai, who hosted today’s hour-long Nintendo Direct, closed the presentation with the announcement of the demo windows. Participation requires an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
Global Test Ride schedule
- November 8: 12:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. PT
- November 9: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. PT
- November 15: 12:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. PT
- November 16: 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. PT
Nintendo hasn’t specified which modes will be available during the Global Test Ride. Kirby Air Riders offers several ways to play—including City Trial and Air Ride—so the demo could surface any combination of those features.
