“Odyssey” Sets IMAX Box Office Record

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer has officially become the first film in history to surpass $500 million in global IMAX box office revenue, according to data from BoxOfficeReport.

The film’s total haul reached an impressive $506.1 million, with domestic IMAX theaters contributing $215.2 million and international markets adding another $290.9 million.

Previously, Oppenheimer cemented its status as Universal Pictures’ highest-grossing film ever, reaching $1.68 billion and narrowly surpassing the $1.67 billion record held by Jurassic World. The star-studded cast includes Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, and others.
