The developers also confirmed they have abandoned plans for a release on the original Nintendo Switch in favor of targeting the Switch 2.
Konami and ZDT Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for Darwin’s Paradox! and announced that the platformer will no longer arrive in 2025 as previously scheduled. It is now slated for a 2026 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2. The team initially aimed for a release on the original Switch but has since shelved that plan.
Embark on a sweeping, cinematic adventure alongside Darwin — an octopus as endearing as he is intelligent — torn from the sea and confined within a vast, enigmatic industrial complex. Using his extraordinary intellect and versatile talents — from swimming and camouflage to a host of other engaging abilities — guide him past deadly traps and relentless dangers in this enthralling platformer that blends action, exploration, and puzzles.
