‘Fallout’ Star Announces Completion of Filming and Worries Fans
Filming for the third season of Fallout is nearing its end.
Walton Goggins has wrapped up his portion of filming for the third season of Fallout. The actor, who plays the Ghoul, posted a video on social media showing him driving a convertible through the desert accompanied by a farewell message:
“Just wrapped him for the last time… Season 3. Damn, it feels good. I wish this road or this song never ended. I’m going to miss you, California… Until next time.”
The phrase “for the last time” alarmed some fans, who interpreted it as a hint that he was saying goodbye to his character. However, the actor appeared to mean he was finishing his work on the third season. The future of the series remains undecided for now, as Prime Video has not announced a cancellation or a renewal for a fourth season.
Production on the third season is still ongoing, although it is close to finishing. Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Hank MacLean, stated as early as October 7 that about a month of production remained.

Alongside Goggins and MacLachlan, Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and other previous cast members will return for the third season. Annabelle O’Hagan and Dave Register, who played Steph and Chet, have joined the main cast. Newcomers include Aaron Paul, Emily Mortimer, Manny Jacinto, and Thomasin McKenzie.
Plot details and the roles of the new cast members have not been disclosed yet. A premiere date for the third season is also unknown.
