The third instalment of the Now You See Me franchise brought in $75.5 million worldwide during its opening weekend, according to media reports.
The picture led the domestic U.S. market ($21.3 million) and international territories ($54.2 million). Russian audiences generated 549 million rubles for the film in its first weekend, data from EAIS show.
Now You See Me follows a troupe of illusionists known as the “Four Horsemen.” The characters return alongside a new generation of assistants to showcase fresh, jaw‑dropping tricks, sleight of hand and spectacular transformations.
The cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Rosamund Pike, Morgan Freeman and others. Ruben Fleischer (Venom) directs. Critics responded ambivalently to the sequel, which holds a 59% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
