We are excited to announce that Nordic Horizons, the newest major map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, will be released on November 27, 2025 at 19:00 CET. After months of development, thousands of kilometres of newly modelled roads and innumerable scenic landmarks, we’re opening the gateway to northern Scandinavia.
This is one of our most extensive map expansions to date, delivering a vast and varied region to explore. From Norway’s stunning fjords and Arctic shoreline to Sweden’s rugged Norrland and Finland’s boundless Lapland, Nordic Horizons melds natural beauty, regional character, and fresh trucking challenges into a memorable experience.

Cruising Nordic Horizons — World of Trucks event
Coinciding with the DLC launch, the World of Trucks event “Cruising Nordic Horizons” begins at launch (November 27, 2025 at 19:00 CET). Explore the new map, deliver cargoes to and from its cities, and contribute to the community objective to earn exclusive in-game rewards.
Rewards

Personal: Players who complete deliveries to or from the required 18 Nordic Horizons cities will receive a World of Trucks achievement and the Northern Tides ETS2 truck paint job Steam inventory item.

Community: If the community collectively drives 300,000,000 km on deliveries to or from any Nordic Horizons city and you have completed your personal goal, you’ll receive a Viking Helmet dashboard ornament Steam inventory item.

Additionally, truckers who finish a job using External Contracts or the External Market TO or FROM Narvik will be granted the Wolf cabin plush Steam inventory item — a soft companion inspired by the wilds of the north.

Nordic Horizons on Steam — Introducing: Forest Machinery DLC for ETS2
Alongside Nordic Horizons, we’re also launching the Forest Machinery DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on November 27, 2025 at 19:00 CET. Designed as the ETS2 complement to an established ATS expansion, this pack introduces heavy forestry machinery and related cargoes — perfect for the woodland industries featured across Norway, Sweden and Finland.
