Nintendo has expanded the Kirby Air Riders amiibo collection with three new figures: Meta Knight paired with Shadow Star, King Dedede with Tank Star, and Chef Kawasaki alongside Hop Star. These join the previously announced Kirby & Warp Star and Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star amiibo already slated for release.

The Kirby & Warp Star and Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star amiibo are scheduled to launch on November 20, 2025 — the same day Kirby Air Riders arrives on the Switch 2 — and are priced at $49.99 each. The Meta Knight & Shadow Star figure will follow on March 5, 2026; King Dedede & Tank Star and Chef Kawasaki & Hop Star are planned for later in 2026. Nintendo has not confirmed prices for those three, though they are expected to carry the same $49.99 price point.

All character figures in this amiibo series are modular: the character portion can be swapped between different vehicles and vice versa. During an hour-long Kirby Air Riders presentation, director Masahiro Sakurai demonstrated that the Tank Star vehicle can be reconfigured from a ground-based mode to a gliding configuration by adjusting the vehicle component of the figure. It has not yet been confirmed whether the other vehicle figures have similar transformation mechanics.

For additional details, Nintendo also shared information about a Kirby Air Riders online demo event next month, and Game Informer has published a hands-on preview of the game. You can also review the key announcements from the August Kirby Air Riders direct for more context.
