According to a recent patent spotted by user MikeOdysseyYT, Nintendo Switch 2 may soon support games from the portable Nintendo DS.
The filing showcases several approaches to implementing a dual-screen experience — from picture-in-picture layouts to a full dual-screen configuration. While these concepts could enable new gameplay features, the likeliest explanation is that Nintendo is preparing to adapt DS titles for the Switch 2.
