Square Enix is pulling no punches for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the highly anticipated culmination of its ambitious remake trilogy. During the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 presentation, audiences were treated to an extended, breathtaking preview highlighting the cataclysmic Weapon encounters awaiting Cloud Strife and his companions in this climactic chapter.
Game Director Naoki Hamaguchi graced the stage to present the new footage, offering an exhilarating first look at the redesigned, colossal confrontations against Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon, and Ultima Weapon.
These monumental clashes exhibit striking visual fidelity and dynamic combat design. Fortunately, the wait to experience the finale will not be prolonged: Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled for a Spring 2027 debut, launching simultaneously across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
