Neverness to Everness Continues to Earn Millions Four Months After Release
Free-to-play urban RPG NTE: Neverness to Everness has surpassed $298 million in total global revenue, generating nearly $98 million of that sum in the last month and a half alone.
Publisher Perfect World shared the figures in its financial report for the first half of fiscal year 2026. The game launched in China on April 23, followed by a global rollout on April 29. On its first day of global availability, the title brought in more than 100 million yuan.
By June 30, NTE had generated over 1.4 billion yuan. According to the updated financial report, total revenue reached 2 billion yuan (roughly $298 million) by August 18. Official standalone PC and Android versions accounted for about 60% of the revenue. The game did not arrive on Steam and the Epic Games Store until July 8.
Despite the strong game revenue, Perfect World closed the first half of the fiscal year with a net loss of around 118 million yuan ($18 million). The publisher attributed the shortfall in part to the timing gap between heavy upfront marketing expenses and the phased recognition of in-game purchase revenue.

On August 19, the developers released Version 1.3, titled "Rising from the Moonlit Fog," which introduced a new map, beaches, swimwear, and seasonal summer content. Revenue from this update was not included in the published financial results.
