Mojang Reveals New Minecraft Mobs — Cadaver Camel and Sunlight‑Immune Dunewalker

The roster of dangers in the cubic realm keeps expanding.

Minecraft’s developers have released a showcase trailer for upcoming content. Mojang Studios invites players to discover the new mobs.

Introducing the Camel Husk (Cadaver Camel) — an undead camel that is not destroyed by sunlight. The creature itself is passive, but it spawns with an armed, hostile cadaver rider (players will also be able to saddle and ride the camel).

Also revealed was the Parched (Dune Skeleton): a skeleton variant that emerges in deserts at night. It fights with a bow whose arrows inflict the Weakness effect. Unlike a standard skeleton, the Parched does not burn in sunlight.
