Modern Warfare Actor Barry Sloane Reacts to New Captain Price Meme
Captain John Price’s noticeably thinning hair in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta quickly turned into an online meme, but the unusual look is just a visual bug rather than an intentional redesign.
Players testing the game noticed the iconic character’s sparse hairline and shared screenshots across social media. Users joked that Price looked as though he had gone too long without hair loss shampoo or had gotten into a fight with a lawnmower.
The joke caught the attention of Barry Sloane, the actor who plays Captain Price in Modern Warfare 4. Sloane joined in on Instagram, referring to himself as “John Halfprice.”
The missing hair stems from a graphical bug that occurs on the PC version when running at low graphics settings. The developers are aware of the glitch and have promised to resolve it.
