Last week some players accessed The Outer Worlds 2 through early access; the game has now received its full release. Obsidian Entertainment and Microsoft invite you to set off on a new voyage across a galaxy overflowing with irreverent humor and surprising choices.
The Outer Worlds 2 is available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC, and is also included in Xbox Game Pass. Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can play at no extra cost starting on launch day.
The title is playable on Xbox Series X|S, on PC, and via cloud streaming.
The Outer Worlds 2 has been well received by critics — holding an average score of 83%. Reviewers highlighted its carefully crafted narrative, the abundance of moral choices, sharp dialogue and effective comedic moments. Obsidian refined the gameplay systems and broadened the world’s scale, delivering a fully developed, multi-layered role‑playing experience.
This is the last major Microsoft release added to Game Pass this month, but subscribers can look forward to more big titles in November, including Football Manager 26 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
