Microsoft Adds Dark Action RPG Beast of Reincarnation to Game Pass for August
Microsoft kicked off the month with a major launch as players gained access to the new action RPG Beast of Reincarnation, which Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play without purchasing.
Today, Beast of Reincarnation became available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The project also launched on Xbox Series X|S, PC, cloud, and PS5.
Beast of Reincarnation is a new title from Game Freak, the studio known for the Pokémon series. The developers created an action RPG that combines fast-paced real-time combat with elements of a turn-based battle system. The story sends players to post-apocalyptic Japan, where Emma and her loyal dog Coo embark on a dangerous journey full of secrets.
Since its announcement, the project has generated significant interest from fans eager to see how the creators of Pokémon would handle a darker and more mature story.
Alongside Beast of Reincarnation, Heretic + Hexen, an updated edition of two classic shooters, was also added to the expanded Game Pass library.
