Academy Award–winning actress Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) will be presented with the Berlinale’s honorary Golden Bear in recognition of her significant contribution to cinema.
“Michelle Yeoh is regarded as one of the most versatile and influential actresses of her generation. Across a career spanning four decades and several continents, she has had a profound impact on international filmmaking,” the festival organisers said.
Yeoh, also celebrated for her performance in the epic Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), served on the Berlinale jury in 1999. The 76th edition of the festival will run from February 12 to February 22, 2026.
Next week, the international release of Evil. Part 2, featuring Yeoh, is set to begin.
