Meet our Scotland Team

Today, we are thrilled to showcase the creative minds driving the Scottish phase of our comprehensive UK Rework project. As we continue our mission to modernize one of the foundational regions in Euro Truck Simulator 2, Scotland is receiving a dedicated overhaul. Our goal is to ensure its majestic panoramas, storied urban centers, and winding highland routes are recreated with the artistry and precision they deserve.

Scotland Rework Landscape

Elevating Scotland to our modern graphical and design standards is a significant undertaking. Every kilometer reflects a deep commitment to quality, from the distinct character of its cities to the sweeping grandeur of the Highlands. Within the broader UK Rework, three specialized map teams are tackling different territories; today, we are shining a light on the individuals reimagining the North. Each team member has shared a brief message about their journey and a few hints about what is currently under development. We hope you enjoy meeting the architects of this refreshed terrain! P.S. I am currently concentrating on Edinburgh, aiming to perfectly balance its historical legacy with its vibrant, atmospheric energy.”

I am responsible for recreating the southern regions, ranging from the historic charm of Falkirk to the energetic pulse of Glasgow. This region is steeped in history and mystery, and I am doing my utmost to capture that essence. I can’t wait for you to experience this stunning country from the cab of your truck. “As soon as I saw the Highlands, I knew this project was the perfect stage to showcase my skills. Sculpting these iconic peaks is a challenge I’ve embraced wholeheartedly. Since joining SCS a year ago, my work has evolved tremendously, and I am pouring all that growth into making this map as magical as the real-world location. Also, expect to see some horses!”

“It has been nearly eighteen months since I joined SCS, and the excitement hasn’t faded. After working on Scandinavia, contributing to the UK Rework—specifically Scotland—is a dream come true. I particularly enjoyed detailing Eilean Donan Castle, and much of my current work involves the breathtaking lochs and mountains of the Highlands. My goal is to capture the serenity of the countryside so that players always have a beautiful new discovery around the corner. One question for the fans: do you believe in the Loch Ness monster?”
