A voluntary career-transition program has been launched.
Ubisoft has announced a voluntary career-transition initiative for employees at Massive Entertainment. The program offers generous exit packages, combining financial assistance with support for finding new employment to those who choose to leave the studio.
According to Ubisoft, the measure forms part of a wider restructuring effort aimed at the long-term development of The Division franchise and key technologies, including the Snowdrop engine and Ubisoft Connect.
The move follows the underperformance of two major Massive Entertainment titles — Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars Outlaws — which failed to meet projected sales targets.
